Kim Delaney was an American actress. Her most well-known role is because of her part as detective Diane Russell, in the ABC series NYPD Blue. For this she was awarded the Emmy Award. The professional life she has had is better than her personal life. The actress, who is skilled and beautiful, has battled addiction to alcohol prior to that. She has also had marriages that failed twice. Her custody was taken away from her son in 2005.
