Ky-Mani
Ky-Mani Marley, one of the best-known and wealthiest Reggae artists was born on February 26, 1976, in Falmouth Jamaica. He starred in the iconic film Shottas with another famous singer Wyclef Jean. Ky-Mani enlisted Shang Records where he recorded his first album in the year 1996. Like Father Like Son and several singles: Judge Not with Patra and Dear Dad" (which topped the British reggae charts) Who The Cap Does It (remix) and Sensimelia each of which contributed to his growing reputation in the new generation of reggae musicians. In 1997 Ky-Mani joined forces along with Praswell (Fugees) for Avenue a hit cover version of Eddy Grant's Electric Avenue. Marley is the very first artist to appear on stage at Midem in Miami which was an international festival of music. Marley's performance at the Cameo Theatre was broadcast live to 36 different countries by Caribbean News Agency. Marley was the target of auction warfare.
